Here at Ad Shots we’re more than just a single job company. We provide a consistently reliable service achieved through long term collaborations. This has helped us significantly improve many small and medium sized businesses by becoming an indispensable part of their workflow.

Types of work undertaken.

We are one of the only companies to specialise in architectural retouching, preparing interior and exterior photographic images of new and refurbished properties for use in advertising. This also covers hotel shoots, bars, conference suites and commercial properties. Our experience allows us to see what needs doing to improve images without you needing to point out every detail. At the same time we recognise clients need to stay in control of how a final image looks.

In recent years we have also undertaken a large amount of work on product images, from small pack shots, larger products such as furniture, product colour alterations, cutouts and general preparation of images for e-commerce and online sales. We specialise in accurate colour reproduction, vital to all images, whether buying from a website or printed brochure.

We help photographers offer a more comprehensive service with faster turn around times.

We help design agencies make the most of their existing photography.

We help property developers and architects show how a development will look after completion.

We are also proud to be members of the Association of Photographers. This gives us some insight into the general trends within the photography business and a good understanding of problems faced by photographers today.

Meet Jerry

Director Jerry Girling is a high end photo retoucher who has worked alongside many top level photographers, property developers, architects and a diverse range of other clients over the years.

He has worked for companies in the United States and the United Kingdom and does not see geographical location as a problem. Infact it can sometimes be a benefit, allowing him to effectively work overnight due to time differences. With the ongoing improvement in broadband connection transfer of large files is becoming increasingly reliable.

A good working relationship ideally results in a finished product that exceeds the expectations of both retoucher and client. To achieve this a good understanding of styles and preferences along with the ability to communicate visual concepts effectively is needed. With 30 years experience in the photographic industry and 15 years as a high end photo retoucher Jerry Girling is ideally placed to achieve this.
